I’m ending my wedding season on a very high note….I’m in the clouds….literally.

Conroy and Alna had their special day at Champagne Castle…deep in the Drakensberg.

This must be one of the most beautiful places in our country.

…and having a fun-loving couple…who would do anything…was the cherry on top.

We even had a TTD (Trash the Dress) session the morning after the wedding.

As a photographer, I could not ask for  more.

This is many brides worst nightmare….a rainy wedding. They freak out…end-of-the-world-stuff….a disaster!
luckily, Mariette wasn’t one of those brides…this is one super cool girl….and with the handsome Armand next to her, we made magic in the rain.
A big thanks to Julia (from Symphonies) for letting me use her porch.
The wedding and reception took place at Grasslands in Bethal.

Luke and Vanessa tied the knot today…and they did it in style and in beauty.

This intimate affair was made more special by the fact that it was held at Vanessa’s sister’s house…no wedding venue required here!

…and the food…the food was from another world….or so I’ve heard…

Many moons ago, Annecke phoned me out of the blue and asked if I can do her flower arrangements for her wedding.  “No”, I replied….”but I can photograph them”.  …and that started our relationship.

This wedding wasn’t ordinary….by no means….it was super extraordinary.  Situated in a beautiful wood on a farm just outside of Ermelo….under open skies…a stylish marquee tent for the reception…food only found in the best of restaurants…and a rock-star couple.

Danie and Annecke….you were hot-stuff and made my photography a breeze.
