This is the album design that my team and I made from Elvio and Melissa’s wedding images.

If you want to know how to throw a wedding party….talk to the Standerton farmers. These guys know all the moves.
It was also the first time I experienced the Greek custom of “breaking of plates”….boy was this fun.
But despite all the crazy cow boys and girls….my wedding couple looks super stylish and elegant.
Lourens and Liezl…thank you for having me at your wedding. I truly enjoyed photographing you.

Normally, when I’m on my way to photograph a wedding, I contemplate some new ideas to try out…how to set my clients at ease…how can I show this wedding in a unique way…what can I do to be different.
For most weddings I have about an hour or so to do this while I’m traveling.
Henry and Mariëtte’s wedding was held on a farm just outside of Bloemfontein….I had almost five hours to think of new ideas. But the truth is, I really didn’t need to think of it at all…..this whole wedding was different….almost every aspect of it.
I could relax and just enjoy capturing the fresh and funky ideas the Henry and Mariëtte had planned for the day.
As you go through the images below you will see exactly what I mean…so enjoy.
Troye and Kobie tied the knot a few weeks ago.

Stunning pictures – I love the one of the bride infront of the waterfall. Where was the wedding venue? Everything was beautiful and picture perfect. Congratulations to the couple!
I was very much looking forward to this wedding.
I knew the reception hall at Avianto was going to be out of this world.
I knew that Melissa and her dress was going blow my mind.
I knew that Elvio was going to look just dashing.

These photos are simply stunning! Your composition and the way you’ve captured the light is absolutely sublime. We were supposed to be at this wedding but unfortunately Sydney Australia is a little too far to travel from at this stage. I can really feel the essense of the day in these photographs – wonderful!

Congratulations Mel and Elvio. You both looked stunning. Love the photographs, and hope that your memory’s are everlasting.
It’s been a few years since I attended a wedding and not being responsible for the photography.
When I was asked to photograph this wedding….I politely declined. Even though I love taking photographs….I wanted to be part of the action on this one.
My other sister, Kobie, got married today….and she looked dashing. And by her side….Troye….a real gentleman.
My right-hand-man, Wayne, was the lucky one to capture this stylish, classical, beautiful affair…..well done my friend.

Groot plisier ou maat
Today was no ordinary Sunday….it was a stylish English affair…top hats and all.
Wayne was the handsome gentleman and Shannon the lovely lady.
This was also my first experience at Chez Charlene in Pretoria East…..and I was pleasantly surprised at how stunning and graceful this venue is.

Oakfield farm, in Muldersdrift, remains one of my favorite wedding venues….stunning chapels, lovely gardens and great service.
Jaco and Joleen tied the knot today….and it was beautiful.
I had a blast photographing these two….I’m sure the images will tell.
