I was pleasantly surprised when Shaun contacted me about being him & Louise’s wedding photographer.
We worked together at Sasol even before I started doing photography full time, but now he lives in the beautiful Cape… What a wonderful way to reconnect with an old friend.
Shaun & Louise really compliment each other and their wedding was spectacular. The setting was just surreal… They tied the knot at Summerfields Rose Retreat near Hazyview.
This was the essential place to ‘stop and smell the roses’… With such a beautiful wedding you had to stop for a moment to take it all in…

What a wonderful even
Ian & Lee-Ann got married at a beautiful church in Bothaville, situated in the Northern Free State. Their reception was held at Buenos Aires.
This was a classic example of a fairytale wedding. Lee-Ann and Ian looked very elegant and the vintage car and breathtaking views gave this wedding a timeless feel.

I traveled to the Magalies Mountains for Jaco and Sue-Ritha’s wedding. I soon realized that this was going to be an epic day.
A gorgeous venue with beautiful, natural surroundings and a type of French Style architecture greeted me when I arrived.
When I saw Sue-Ritha she reminded me of a fairy princess and the touches of pink here and there even more so. She looked gorgeous in her gown and was just glowing on this big day.
Jaco and the guys looked dashing and reminded me of a type of ‘old school’ look with their hats, ties and braces. There was a vintage touch to the day which rounded everything off perfectly.
I get kind of nostalgic when I browse through the photos, I hope you like it…

Theuns and Minette’s wedding is one I’ll remember for quite some time. Such elegance, paired with fun and love and dreams.
A true vintage affair… Their venue fitted their style and theme perfectly, the Morrels Farmhouse in Northcliffe exudes vintage charm of a bygone era.
Minette’s style is one of a kind and she showed it off perfectly with gorgeous shoes and little changes in her outfit.
Theuns enjoyed his shorts and still looked amazing!
Shoes, old doors, dogs and a lot of laughs. A wonderful day to remember. Congrats guys.

Dankie Minette! Bly jy hou daarvan! Dit was ‘n voorreg.
When Carin told me about her and Christo’s wedding, I instantly knew that this was going to be a hit.
These two spontaneous, crazy and loving people would be sure to create something totally different for this occasion.
And I was right!
Although it was an extremely cold day, it didn’t bother this bride and groom in the least. They are both Harley Davidson riders and of course we had to incorporate this into their couple session. Carin’s designer dress and coat blew me away.
What a fun-loving, beautiful couple! I hope you enjoy the photos…

Wim and Luzandi decided to get married in Pongola, in the Pongola Game Reserve at Nkwazi Lodge…
I packed the bus and headed off to the bushveld. Little did I realize that the lodge was right next to the Pongolapoort Dam which made for some pretty amazing pictures. This is such a beautiful setting!
The couple looked dashing and fit right in with this amazing place. The guests had tons of fun with the photo booth as well! Enjoy the photos…

When Candice told me they’re getting married at Jan Harmsgat se Agterplaas I was so intrigued I couldn’t wait for their wedding day! And I was pleasantly surprised. In Cullinan, this beautiful little venue was the perfect setting for two very much in love people who celebrated their wedding day.
I had quite a variety of settings to play with… Elegant yet fun are the words that come to mind.
I also had the best ginger beer I’ve ever tasted and even went so far as to start making my own…

When I spoke to Leon and Walmarie about their wedding I got extremely excited about the venue… And I wasn’t disappointed in the least. The beautiful surroundings of the Rose Cottage in the Drakensberg blew my mind.
It provided the perfect backdrop for some beautiful photographs. The lush greens woods and gardens were breathtaking.
The couple, Leon and Walmarie… What beautiful people! So friendly and warm. Their entourage as well! I had lots of fun with them.
Their crowd was great and the atmosphere was joyous all round. Enjoy having a look around….
