Albie and Mirinda got one of my Exclusive wedding albums as well as two Brag books of the same design.
Today I did things differently. I still have to find out whether it was good or bad….but I’m sure you’ll let me know. Please tell me what you think.
Normally, we photographers, choose locations for our couple shoot that are clean, private and beautiful. Places like gardens or open fields.
Today I used the town center….it wasn’t clean, or private, or beautiful. But if you pick your angles right you can get some very interesting backgrounds.
Not all the location worked though, but I did get some unique stuff. Albie and Mirinda you two were just great and made my wedding photography a breeze.

baie mooi fotos, oorspronklike kunswerke!!

This was just one of those perfect weddings. Everything went according to plan….the weather was sunny and hot, Ilidia was on time, the dress fitted beautifully….first time, Adriaan wasn’t too nervous, the food was great….and we made some great images.
Here are a few of my favorites.
I recently got some new fast glass and Louis & Charlene’s wedding was the first one with the new toys. If you’re not a photographer, you probably won’t have an idea what I’m talking about….don’t worry….it’s just the lingo we togs use. “Fast glass” means a lens that can shoot in much lower light levels than normal lenses. This implies that I can use more ambient light, less flash light and still achieve the correctly exposed and sharp image. OK…enough of the tech talk.
Louis and Charlene….you guys were just great. So easy and natural in front of the camera. I’m sure you’ll see it in the images.
One thing I have come to realize when working the couple during a shoot, is that if you don’t ask for something…..you won’t get it.
It was raining on and off during our couple shoot and I loosely suggested that we move the red couch from the study to the living room for a better background…they said yes.
Then I suggested that we move it to under the veranda…they said yes.

Hot stuff
This is the album I designed for Brian & Yolandi at the beautiful Leopard Lodge.
Brian & Yolandi couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to get married on. The weather and the venue was just perfect. They also gave me lots and lots of time to shoot them. And the longer I shoot, the better the images. Enjoy.
