I have come to realize that photographing people gives me great joy and satisfaction. I love capturing the emotion and character of my clients or the connection and energy between loved ones at a wedding. By being spontaneous and relaxed, I am able to connect with my clients and put them at ease to reveal their sincere nature in my images.
My photographic style can be described as relaxed, fun, arty, contemporary and spontaneous. I also love to adopt a photo journalistic style if the situation allows it. In addition to this I enjoy experimenting with new ideas, funky poses and
creative lighting.
I try to explore this art form to the fullest by allowing myself to do all kinds of photography. This includes wedding-, studio-, lifestyle-, architecture-, corporate-, sport-, landscape- and fine art photography. By being so diverse, I am constantly challenged to learn new skills and techniques that can only improve me as a photographer.
I had these two cute love birds in front of the camera for their engagement session recently… Annemarie wanted a little more flair and a dramatic feel to the session so we went to Morrels Guesthouse here in Jhb. The venue worked so well for this. I had loads of fun with Paul and Annemarie and can’t wait to see them at their wedding! Have a look at what went down… . . .
