The morning after the night before

TTD 234After a lovely wedding reception the night before, we decided to do a Trash-The-Dress (or Cherish-The-Dress, if you look at it differently) the morning after.  And we did most of it at the bottom of the Vanderkloof dam wall (previously known as the PK Le Roux dam).

If you’re a normal person, you can not go there…..you need to be special…or know someone that’s special…like Bertie’s brother in law who has connections with Escom who owns and operates one side of the dam wall.  Thanks Frans…without your help this shoot would not have been so special.

Anyhow…Jossie and Bertie didn’t drink too much at the reception and they were ready for action at 8 o’clock on this ridiculously hot Sunday morning.  Ready to get more value for money from their wedding gowns.

I just love the architecture of the this massive dam wall….the textures….the lines…the character.  I was in my element.

Due to the extreme heat, we just had to take a dip in the dam….I couldn’t resist.

Thanks again Jossie and Bertie for being such sports….you two were amazing.

Enjoy the images.
